Thank you, for reading and commenting! I credit Armin Shimerman with a lot though-- the layers of character were really there in his acting, in spite of the one-dimensional writing.
I'm currently surrounded by people who are going about their lives convinced they are right and good, who simply aren't. After I got past the fun of "Snyder's a ghost", it struck me that exploring how and why someone gets stuck in their wrongheaded ways would be very interesting, for me and for Buffy.
