This story is so lovely and sad - I'd never have thought that anyone could make me like Snyder (or realistically make Buffy like Snyder) but you just did. Or, if not like him, then at least feel for him. I especially enjoyed the details, like his Catholic upbringing and the St. Christopher's pendant. Wonderful job.
