Yeah, you know the drill. I did this meme several months ago, but recently new friends sucked me in while I was diligently not working on my novel.

All right. Let's see:

1. I friended you because you commented on several entries in addition to giving lovely feedback on Lost Boys. And when I went to check out your journal, I found we had things in common, like writing and faith. (Well, you have faith. I have a lot of anger and doubt. But I care about it.)

3. I like that you prepared for nano and jumped into with both feet. But you still make time for your family and have good priorities about what's important.
4. memory: friending two different journals for you in the same week
5. How'd you get into fan fic? And is HP the only fandom, or are there others you have read/ would consider reading?
6. You have some cool userpics. LOL Jesus is best, but the charlie brown ones come a close second. I still remember when you used the bear with his head stuffed in a drawer to comment on a particularly evil cliffhanger in Lost Boys.....

I got into fanfic just after HPatDH came out. I was trolling a spoilers community on LJ, and people started posting fanfic. After how disappointing the ending of DH was, I decided to see if there was something that could fill the void. I started reading you, kanedax and deenas_fics in particular because you seemed to have something special in what you wrote.

As for any others, I haven't gotten into any yet, but I'm a huge fan of Buffy, Stargate SG-1, and a number of other things, so maybe when I have more time I'll get into some others. But the transition to HP fanfic was just natural with the end of the series.
