Thanks. As a musician and amateur composer, I have more appreciation than most for Sondheim's achievements. And the mark of a really great artist, in any area, is that his/her work repays repeated study with new layers and depths to discover.

ETA: And I should apologize for the layout of this entry when you read it the first time-- I've been playing around with the layout. I've got one that makes longer entries easier on the eyes now. But that doesn't much help you....
