Oh yes, thanks for the title-- I was thinking of referencing that fic to say "This is not a new idea" but couldn't remember for sure which fic it was. Yes I have read it, and I intend to stay as far as possible from that formulation-- as far as I can while assuming a Light and Dark that actually make some kind of sense. Still, if I get close, I'll add an author's note to acknowledge the similarity.
