Fic Rec: "Shoveling" by PaBurke

I just ran across this story at rerunawards, and-- it's kind of amazing. It's a series of drabbles that all hang together better than some stories I've read (or written, for that matter.) I was skeptical when I saw a familiar character from another show I loved, long before the internet existed, or I knew about fan fiction. But It really, really works. Read at least the first few parts, and I suspect you, too, will be hooked. And great original characters, too.

Have to go hunt this author down and tell him/her what I thought.

Wow, you're right! I was iffy on it the moment I saw what the crossover was, but damn, it worked really well! Hooked me all the way till the end. My only beef with it is that Klinger would obviously have moved home to Toledo, not Chicago. But then, Jamie Farr only comes back once a year, so who knows!
