A Good Day

Just a quick drive-by to say that Wee Hob had a very good day Monday. He rolled his eyes when I collected him in the office and followed him upstairs to apologize to Ms. M for not showing Friday, then to Ms. C to work on his history paper. She informed me he was missing a bit of homework, so I collected that as well. And after we got done there and went to the library, He Did His Homework. Nicely. No fighting. And when we got home, with new batteries for the tape player, he played his conversation/ essay about Friday for me. And we shared a nice snack.

Thanks to everyone for the hugs and great advice.

That is all.

That good news. And I like your new background. Now I’m going to listen to “dark night of the soul.”

Thanks. I change my journal theme frequently-- this is one I haven't run across before. [livejournal.com profile] theblackmare turned me on to loreena mckennitt, and I am quite happy about it.

Thanks! Hugs back. You cold enough up there? Didya get out and Vote? Our company probably printed your ballots, just so you know.

I did get out and vote, as a matter of fact.
The weather is pretty nasty. Our boss let us go about 4 hours early and it was quite the white knuckle drive home.

Not so sure about that those ballots being done by your company. We have the touchscreen computers! :p~~~

Oh, and if you like Loreena McKennitt, I highly, highly, highly recommend her "Live in Paris and Toronto" 2 disc set. It's absolutely wonderful. She's one of the rare musicians that sounds better live.

So you tried the tape thing? Do you think it's working?

So glad he had a good day. The more he has, the more he will have. You rock! (Both of you, but especially you, sweetie.)

Oh yes. The tape idea was Brilliant. And again, he feels Heard, which makes him less frustrated and anxious, whihc is also of the good.

Thanks again. So far, another good day seems to have been had-- he's writing his short story for school now.

I'm glad to hear things are better but sadly it won't all be smooth sailing from here on out. He's at a difficult age.
