9.)A. I smoke cigarettes, forget to eat, and don’t exercise.

10.)A. For you? Anything! Chances are the ride would have to be piggyback though,
since my husband has the Jeep most days and if I want to go anywhere it’s by
foot.

11.)A. Ninja Warrior… wait, that’s a TV show and not a sport. Although if you ask the
Japanese (or watch the show) it may actually qualify as a sport.

12.)A. If the world ends tomorrow I’d probably bitch about it cutting into my writing
time or the kid’s school day (we school at home so interruptions are a big deal).
Is this attitude Negative?
13.)Q. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
13.)A. I’d thank God because I’ve always wanted to meet you and if we’re stuck in an
elevator together it just means more time to chat. Then I’d probably call my
husband to come and get the elevator unstuck. He maintains them at work and
knows all the tricks.

15.)Q. Tell me one weird fact about you:
15.)A. I had to think about this one pretty hard. The best I can come up with is that I (my husband and children) am Wiccan. I don’t advertise it in RL except to notify the kid’s teachers at the beginning of the school year that we need to take certain days off for religious reasons. I’ve mentioned it a few times on my LJ but aside from telling my siblings, immediate friends, and parents we keep it to ourselves. (Hubby’s family is solidly UCC and involved in the church, and SIL is a pastor of her own church in Connecticut and they do not know.) Every so often my Catholic grandmother tells me that I’m going to burn in Hell. It’s just her own special way of telling me that she loves me.

16.)A. Yes! We have a cat, a dog, a bird, and a gerbil. We had two gerbils, but sadly Moon Sugar, my son’s albino died this week.

17.)A. I’d be here. I’m always home and you’re welcome to drop by anytime. I’d ask if you were hungry and insist on making you something to eat even if you said no. I’d hope that Wee-Hob were with you so that the kids could play while we visited. I’d either plot story with you or pull out the cards and insist on a game of Rummy. I’d show you whatever knitting project I have going on at the time. I’d probably make a fool of myself or come off as awkward because I don’t make eye contact well, but other than that I think we’d have a fine visit.

21.)A. Your conscience. Due to the nature of my husband’s work I know too much about what prison is like to be your partner in crime.

27.)A. I don’t drink, but back when I was dating my husband we had our own place. It
was called the Bombay Bicycle Club. We went there nearly every night to
Karaoke although neither one of us can carry a tune. They closed without
warning, and since then we’ve stayed home. Having children killed any social
life we may have had, but we’re hopeful that when they grow up we can start
going out again on a regular basis.

ghosts until I saw one for myself. I think that you have to see one before you can
really believe in them.
There is a building in Toledo with a reputation for being haunted. It is called the
Collingwood Arts Centre. At one time in its past it was the Mary Manse
College for women, run by the Ursuline Nuns. The Collingwood Arts Centre
was written about in one of the books in the Haunted Ohio series.
Back when I was pregnant with my son, Taliesin, a little over nine years ago, a
group of friends was renting space there on the fourth floor. I was getting off of
the elevator on the third floor—its as high as it goes. You had to take the elevator
to the third floor and walk down a long hallway to the next set of stairs going up to
our attic room.-- and I saw someone walk past the elevator as I exited, and turn
the corner right next to me going toward the stairs.
I thought it was someone from the group and so I went around
the corner to follow and there was no-one there. It was a matter of three seconds
since I saw the person turn the corner (the elevator is right there) and the corridor
was empty.
The person I saw was a woman dressed in a long black robe. Ordinarily I
would have thought that strange, but I was going to meet a group of Wiccans for
Circle and long black robes and cloaks are part of the ritual dress.
Now when I hear people talk of seeing a ghost I listen to the details. If they just
mention having a creepy feeling I dismiss them. I never would have thought
that the person I saw was a ghost because she looked as solid and as real and as
alive as anyone. It was the fact that she disappeared so quickly when there was
literally no-where to go that makes me believe that I have actually seen a ghost.

Both articles mention an 'occult group' that 'broke in' to the place trying to raise spirits.
I want to say that it wasn't us. We rented out an attic room for a short time to gather for weekly fellowship, hold monthly circles, and observe the holidays.
Some of the misinformed residents of the building got their panties in a twist because OMG!!! WITCHES!!! were meeting there. They were accusing us of all kinds of bloodcurdling things. Such an imaginative bunch!
If I remember correctly they left all kinds of awful things on our doorstep. We were very sad to leave because it was a good sized room and we were very respectful of the residents and the building.
