Ok, to make up for the nano post, and to make it even Less likely anyone will read it, here's something a good deal better. This represents as far as the story got in any forum-- I think even less made it out onto ODD. I was trying to get myself into Willow mindset, and I remembered she figured prominently in this section.

So, as always, comments and criticisms welcomed. After nano is over, I'll put this out on the yahoo groups I inhabit, but I'd like to smooth any of the remaining rough edges before then.
