Yeah. I keep having flashes of more, maybe told as flashbacks/memories during that last awful year where Snape is headmaster, and his only companion is the portrait of the man he killed. I imagine even if they were just casual friends her death would be one of the many eating away at him.
But I don't think I'm up for that kind of angst just now. Nonetheless, it made a nice couple of paragraphs' worth of insight into the Snape in this story.
