Fic Postmortem: Lost Boys

What’s a fic postmortem? It’s a rambling commentary on how a writer went about writing a particular story, identifying and solving problems, what the story was supposed to be about, what the writer learned, or would do differently. I learned to do them from [livejournal.com profile] antennapedia and find them tremendously helpful. Sometimes also an insomnia aid. Here then, is my postmortem for Lost Boys.

Fic Postmortem: "Through a Glass Darkly"

Ok, for some people, writing fanfic is an end in itself. For me, it’s a means to an end. See, I want to grow up to be a writer. Except for the growing up part. So here is the obligatory postmortem on “Through a Glass Darkly”, the what-I-learned with interesting side notes on the process of creating my second completed bit of fiction in over 20 years, for the reading pleasure of one Lady [livejournal.com profile] antennapedia, who taught me how to do these, and her kitten.
