I always wonder how the LJ friends I don't know in real life react to me and how much they actually think of me as their friend. It's a little odd for me. On the one hand, I've had people unfriend me for things I've said, people I thought were real friends though we'd never met online. On the other hand, I told my wife (whom I met on LJ) that I loved her before I ever met her in person, and that's turned out pretty well. I've met a number of LJ friends (past and present) in real life, and I'd say that about half of them have crapped out while the other half have worked out just fine. Strange how that works out. It takes all kinds, I guess.
