Well, I did get some writing done yesterday, taking my advice to follow my main characters. It was good for me to write the scene with Buffy and Lillian, but I may end up using almost none of it.

At the moment, though, I want to try out my new layout, which I think will not require me to add breaks between paragraphs in order to see it displayed as my eyes need it for my journal. Yes, I'm a little slow on the uptake here-- I think the Wise Lady Antenna made this observation quite some time ago.

So, as an experiment, I'm going to post what I wrote last night, and see how it comes out. Here's the current word meter:

I have some more ideas for after this, but that'll be the lunchtime project for today. At least I'm a little bit unstuck now.... What helped was forcing myself the night before last to do a list of what my Ellen is like.

Let's see what this looks like in the new layout. Then it's off to brave the COLD. I hate winter, have I mentioned that?

I'm making final edits to this story and posting it both here and on a couple of yahoo groups. This version is significantly altered from the original, thanks in large part to the challenge by [livejournal.com profile] antennapedia for me to show a scene I initially skipped over, and by several people a couple of years ago who found everyone just a little too reasonable for the situation. Hope I've rectified it for you. This also differs from the version currently on ODD. Sorry, Dusty, and thanks again. Previous part here:
