I'm not sure if I ever gave you feedback on this. It's such an extraordinary story, so rich and complex. The way you use language is amazing. I don't know if you plan to finish it. It would be great, of course. But even if you stop here, it's one of the most haunting pieces of fanfic I've ever read.
