I absolutely loved the first season of Once Upon A Time, but liked each progressive season less and less because they each season they would drop 95% of the plot threads and character development from previous seasons in order to make room for The Next Big Threat. Whereas I would have been more interested in just ... dealing with the implications and consequences of all the big and important stuff they already had going. I think I stopped watching in season three? Four? I don't remember.
