I Can Has Internetz, Plz?

As I write this, the answer is No. Absolutely not. My upstairs neighbors keep doing something to my cable line, and I keep losing the connection. Very annoying. Even more so is the cable company's inability to keep their lame-o story straight about when they're going to come fix it (ranging from Saturday afternoon to oh say, Never-- as of now it is still unfixed.) I pity the poor customer service fools who get my call this morning. I won't be mean to them, but I will say quite a lot of fun things for them to type verbatim for their superiors.

As it happens though, inability to obsessively check e-mail and read new chapters of fanfics I'm following has had the salutary effect of making me work on my Nano Novel, and I have it almost finished in first draft. As soon as I can Get to google docs to look again at all the things gillo marked for me, I'll start final edits and begin posting the damned thing.

Anyway, if there's something I missed this weekend, please let me know.

ETA: Looks like it's going to be Saturday Morning before they can fix this. Unless I want to take off work. Growwwl.....

Woo hoo! And there I was, I was stuck in a troop committee meeting which got quite acrimonious towards the end. Wee hobgoblinn says he had fun in the junior leadership meeting. He has many cunning plans to share with his fellow scouts.

And tonight, I just found out there's a school open house. "And when were you planning on telling me about this, dearest son?"

"Er....."
