juno_magic has more than made up for my lack. Last year, I quoted some Shakespeare from memory. This year, I offer you a link to a cool poem I ran across in college and have never forgotten, about the power of poetry and words to draw us in. I've taught this a couple of times-- high school kids tend to like the humor. I give you Ishmael Reed's Beware: Do Not Read This Poem.
