Okay, So I've been gone a lot. I have read back at times, and commented when I wasn't too out of date. I can't promise I'll be here any more regularly, but I can't promise I won't get hit by a bus tomorrow, either.

So. Here's today. )

Wee Hob turns 17 in April, 13 months after 2nd son. Will have to relate some of his adventures in another post. Unless I get hit by that bus.

How are all of you?

Okay, so I'm not so creative as the year winds down. Partially I must plead the exhaustion of a church musician-- it's a busy season for us, underpaid irreverent souls that we are. And I've been trying to work with small hobgoblinn underfoot over the school break, too. I have been trying to write more on my Nano novel today-- it's Hard to get back in a story's mindspace after being out of it for a few weeks. I need to start writing, and then typing in what I've written, every day, like I was in November and early December.

This entry in [livejournal.com profile] rahirah's journal made me feel a little better about my Giles and Willow story. I am starting to get bogged down in contradictions in different parts of this story. At least I'm sensitive to the contradictions. Professionals either have things more tightly plotted before they start writing or just push through and fix it all later. Or, in the case of S7 Buffy writers, ignore it and go blithely forward.

In case I don't get another post up this year, Happy New Year, friends.

Hob,

who's wondering exactly What I should be telling my family about the glim, and who's looking forward to taking Clavally writing....
