Harry Potter and the Spoilers of Doom

One more day, folks. I guess I'm lucky I've been too busy to seriously peruse Teh Internets in search of spoilers, though I am dimly aware that there are at least two different versions of The Book out there for our reading pleasure. Or our permanent eye damage. Some people have waaay too much time on their hands, if you ask me.

I thought I would mention in passing a couple of Harry Potter fanfics I've seen recently, one of which is certainly a better continuation and rounding out of the tale than HBP. That one is "Harry Potter and the Battle of Wills" by jocelyn and her mum. It can be found here:

It's genfic, with an amazing grasp of Rowling's characteristic style and humor, very satisfying tackling of themes JKR has already set up (and that I fear she won't round out as well), and great characterization. Truly fantastic work. Go check it out after you finish DH, if you find yourself pining away for different takes on this wonderful world.

Another one I've recently enjoyed, is "The Prefect's Portrait":

All props of course go to JKR for making this world in the first place, and giving us such a rich canvas to imagine with.

And now, the meme-- a spoilers game of sorts. My wee hob and I were killing time last weekend talking about the upcoming book and began to play this game: which of us could come up with the silliest spoilers using the Clue guessing format? So, for example, "Snape, with the Vulture Hat, in the Great Hall." Or "Ron, with the Chamber Pot, in the Room of Requirement."

By the way-- I recently saw a site devoted to lol Harry potter images, but I can't find it now. Does anyone know where this might be? I liked the one of Lucius Malfoy.
