ff.net deletes all *s (as well as some other characters) for some reason. I find the best way is to insert a horizontal line, like so between sections. You can do that by going to the "Documents" section, edit the documents (the horizontal line is inserted with one of the buttons, next to the bold and italic things) and then under Stories->Edit->Content/Chapters choosing "Replace chapter" way at the bottom and replacing the content of a chapter with the edited document.
