I just had a wicked thought. The "Sweet muppety Odin" comment I've seen quoted makes no sense, even from Joss. Unless....

What if Buffy is channeling Anya? That kind of fixation on sex, and the invocation of Odin (who was probably still alive in her original day, before he made god status) Might make sense, coming from her.....

Yeah, I was inevitably reminded of "merciful Zeus!" from Xander. I thought it was a bit of shaky voice more than anything.
